MODU is the textile studio of artist Molly Dudley. We are a woman-owned, Atlanta based studio creating utility bags and handwoven home decor.
Molly Dudley is a designer, textile artist and weaver based in Atlanta, creating handmade utility inspired bags and handwoven textiles through her brand MODU.
MODU, comprised of duo Molly and Davis Dudley, started making utility bags in 2024. Inspired by our time on the road and living in Oregon we craft our bags to fit the lifestyles of industry pros, tradespeople, and anyone who wants to get out and experience life. The utilitarian designs we strive for maximize form and function to integrate seamlessly into work or play for people on the go. We place an emphasis on sourcing locally and sustainably with our fabrics and hardware without compromising aesthetically, merging eco conscious living with style. Our bags are built for everyone who believes their bag should look as great as it functions.
Molly Dudley is also a textile artist, creating every piece entirely by hand on traditional floor looms, with the focus of only using natural fibers and sourcing close to home, highlighting cotton grown in the Georgia delta.
Inspired by ancient weaving techniques and the south’s rich textile history, Molly’s work is slow and intentional - honoring traditional craft in a modern aesthetic.
We are available for custom work, including bags, textiles and one of a kind artwork. For gallery inquiries and other custom inquiries, please email.
